Individual Health Coaching Sessions :: Darby gives one-on-one attention to each and every client and develops unique customized programs based on personal needs and goals. Traditional sessions last 50 minutes but expanded services are available. Focuses include but are not limited to :

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A HEALTH COACHING SESSION :: FAQ
HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?
Sessions are normally 50 minutes in length but extended sessions are available.
WHERE WILL MY HEALTH COACHING SESSION BE HELD?
Sessions can be held in person, via phone or skype. If you live in the Bay Area, your session can be held at Mint Studios in SOMA or within the privacy of your own home. It's up to you! If you'd like to schedule an appointment with Darby at the chic Mint Studios location, then you can sign up HERE. If you're more interested in a private session in your home or would like to schedule your sessions via skype or phone then you can sign up HERE. Darby sees clients all over the world via Skype and phone.
Part of the health coaching program also involves grocery store walk throughs, farmers market visits or cooking demos, all of which happen in person at various locations. If you are not in the Bay Area then this information is delivered digitally via grocery store lists and personalized store recommendations.
WHAT DO I GET WHEN I SIGN UP?
You can sign up for a single health coaching session or buy a package of 4, 8 or 12 sessions. To see optimum, long-lasting results, Darby recommends a minimum of 4 sessions. In addition to meeting in person, when you sign up you can expect::
- Detailed session notes and personal recommendations within 24 hours of your 50 minute appointment
- Direct email contact should you have questions or concerns in between sessions
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes
- Snack recommendations
- Weekly accountability check in emails from Darby
WHAT HAPPENS IN MY FIRST HEALTH COACHING SESSION?
Before your first health coaching session you will fill out a detailed form that will give Darby more information on what you're looking for, your goals and what your struggles are. The form will serve as a roadmap during your sessions. During your first session, Darby will ask you questions about your health form and dive deeper into areas of concern. From there, she will develop a unique customized program based on personal needs and goals. The foundation of the program is set in whole foods and personal awareness. Darby will give you tools and suggestions to begin building that foundation so that you can easily begin to make changes. Within 24 hours of your session you will receive an email with detailed notes from the session as well as 2-3 recommendations to focus on.
HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?
Sessions are normally held every other week, so about twice per month. To see long lasting changes, Darby recommends a minimum of 4 sessions.
CAN I EXPECT QUICK RESULTS?
This again depends on what your goals are but this is a results oriented program. Darby takes great care and pride in each and every client that she works with to make sure that their goals are met. It is important to remember that deep and lasting change can take longer than expected. This is not a crash diet so you should not expect to lose 10 lbs in one week. When you work with Darby changes may happen more slowly but you are working to rewire your fundamentals which will stick with you for the rest of your life.
