Arming yourself with the right snacks when you are starting to implement a healthy lifestyle is incredibly important. You want to be sure to set yourself up for success so that you aren't tempted by all of the processed, pre-packaged junk that's out there. Especially during the holidays!

The snacks listed below are quick, require minimal, if any cooking and many of them you can just buy at a grocery store when you're in a pickle.

Hard boiled egg

Half of an avocado with olive oil and salt on top

Kale chips. I love THIS brand.

An Epic Beef Bar or Rise Protein Bar

Hummus or guacamole with cucumbers, jicama, carrots or celery for dipping

A spoonful of coconut butter with a few goji berries on top

A handful of roasted or raw nuts like macadamia nuts, almonds or cashews

Kombucha

Bulletproof Coffee or tea

Beef or turkey jerkey with less than 4g of sugar per serving. I love THIS brand. 

Full fat, quality cheese like parmesan

Olives with quality salami

Quality roast turkey (I like Applegate Farms) stuffed with avocado or guacamole

Lox with avocado or guacamole

A spoonful of some kind of nut butter. I love almond or cashew.
