If you want to cut sugar out of your diet, the best way to do that is to read labels and look for sugar in the ingredient list. Now, if looking for the word sugar in an ingredient list were all we needed to do to avoid the stuff, it wouldn't be so hard! Unfortunately, sugar goes by over 50 different names, and whether it's plain sugar, dextrose, evaporated cane sugar or brown sugar your body treats it all pretty much the same. Use this handy list next time you're shopping or to just get familiar with all of the different names for sugar.

Why do most diets fail? Because many of the foods that we eat today are biologically addictive.
