Lemon Garlic Hummus

Whip up this hummus at home in your food processor in less than five minutes for a tasty, healthy snack!

Ingredients ::

One can of chickpeas or garbanzo beans. Although chickpeas are typical in hummus, I used garbanzo beans because that was all I had left and it still tasted amazing. So, it's up to you!

The juice from one whole lemon

5-6 garlic cloves (more if you love garlic like me)

1/4-1/2 cup olive oil depending on your texture preference

A small bunch of cilantro

Salt to taste


Instructions ::

Add all ingredients to your food processor

Blend on high for about 2 minutes or until creamy. You may need to use the pulse option 1-2 times to make sure everything is blended well.

Place in a bowl and drizzle 1 TBSP olive oil across the top with a dash of salt

Slice up cucumbers, bell peppers, jicama or any other veggie and start dipping!
